The Ministry of Production (Produce) concluded the First Fishing Season 2019 of anchovy and white anchovy in the North-Central Zone.

The measure is effective from 00:00 on July 31, 2019, and was published via Ministerial Resolution No. 329-2019-PRODUCE in the Official Gazette El Peruano.

The text details that in this season 2.01 million tons of anchovy were captured, a figure that represents 95.87% of the maximum maximum allowable catch limit.

The unloading and processing of the fish resources must be done within 24 and 48 hours after the end of the season, respectively.

The quota for the first fishing season of the year was 2.1 million tons.
