Comments:
Fishmeal cash market is unusual quiet and moving lower about RMB 200 mt. At present, market is focus on corn due to short of supply.
As for poultry meal, RMB cash price s firm mainly due to short in supply and International market price continuing moving up. However, MBM is totally moving the other way, Chinese importer is facing sever profit lost about RMB400-500/mt.
The corn RMB price has risen again due to tight supply situation not changed in China. However, trade inventories are high and local African swine fever rebounded affecting the pig stock recovery eventually. His recovery of hog herds in some regions including Shandong/Henan/Hebei could be delayed due to new outbreak of pig diseases before Chinese New Year.
Live pig price is declining since Feb 2021, not just because demand is reduced after CNY but also Farmers dumped large quantity of live pig due to worry about African fever diseases.
