Today Comments:
China’s economy has entered a downward trend, consumption is poor, fishmeal has been declining, and the weather is not conducive to aquaculture. RMB price of poultry meal has also been falling. The current transaction of different brands is between RMB 7,800-8,000. The importer suffered a big loss last year and a small loss this year but the extent of the loss is expanding.
New season fishmeal shipments have gradually arrived in Chinese ports and fishmeal inventory at China main ports are slowly increasing. Chinese importers are more willing to follow the price, and feed companies mainly buy hand to mouth quantity as they are used. The current RMB price of Peruvian super prime fish meal is at 15,600-15,700 yuan/ton. The short-term fishmeal market continues to be weak.
