The second season of anchovy Fishing Resource, 2017, in the North Central Coast of Peru could start later this month. It has been the holder of the Ministry of production (produce), Pedro Olaechea.
In this regard, the Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture produces, Hector Soldi, reported that the Cruise (Acoustic) Evaluation of the anchovy of the Marine Institute of Peru (IMARPE) for this second season ends on Sunday, after which it will be suggested to produce the start date and the fishing quota this season.
"After the end of the Cruise (Acoustic) Evaluation for the second season of anchovy Fishing in the North Central Coast of Peru, IMARPE take a week to review the reports and Results of evaluation Cruises and suggest that produces the start date and Fishing quota for this fishing season" He said to andina News Agency.
Soldi explained that the purpose of the anchovy spawning determines the start of the fishing season of anchovy and detected the amount of this resource in the sea, as well as the various existing sizes affect the Capture volume of the fishing season.

La Segunda Temporada de Pesca 2017, del recurso anchoveta, en la zona centro y norte del litoral peruano podría empezar a fines de este mes. Así lo ha proyectado el titular del Ministerio de la Producción (Produce), Pedro Olaechea.
Al respecto, el viceministro de Pesca y Acuicultura del Produce, Héctor Soldi, informó que el crucero (acústico) de evaluación de la anchoveta del Instituto del Mar del Perú (Imarpe) para esta segunda temporada de pesca finaliza el domingo, luego de lo cual se sugerirá a Produce la fecha de inicio y la cuota de pesca de esta temporada.
“Luego de culminado el crucero (acústico) de evaluación de la anchoveta para la Segunda Temporada de Pesca en la zona centro y norte del litoral peruano, el Imarpe tomará una semana más para revisar los informes y resultados de los cruceros de evaluación y sugerir a Produce la fecha de inicio y cuota de pesca de esta temporada de pesca”, dijo a la agencia Andina.
Soldi explicó que el fin del desove de la anchoveta determina el inicio de la temporada de pesca de la anchoveta y la cantidad detectada de este recurso en el mar, así como las distintas tallas existentes inciden en el volumen de captura de la temporada de pesca.
