MOA officially announced and accepted the fishmeal manufacturer to down grade the fishmeal License from the higher grade to grade 3.

MOA # 1935 Down Grade Guideline
In order to enhance the the imported fishmeal product quality and safety regulation and ensure the relevant trade smoothly, according to the feed and feed additives Management Ordinance,

The relevant provisions of the imported animal feed and feed additives management approach, feed ingredients and fish meal national standard (GB/T19164-2003), now announced as follows:

1) A registered high-level imported fish meal manufacturers allowed to extend the scope of the registration of fishmeal from higher level to lowest grade 3 level.   The old License registered as grade 1, 2 fishmeal could be changed to the product name as " grade 1 to grade 3" or " grade 2 to grade 3"  but not lower than grade 3 standard fish meal could be imported.

2)  in accordance with the requirements of feed ingredients, since January 1, 2013, all fish meal exports to China must be marked in the label TVN mandatory labeling index.

3) feed management departments at all levels should be strictly in accordance with manufacturers reporting product quality standards on imported fishmeal products regulation. Feed quality inspection agency will use the detection method in fishmeal national standards to its supervision and spot detection.
