I. FISHMEAL / FISH Oil SECTION

[PERU] For 1st anchovy season, the fishing status till May 20, 2018 is as below: Total Catching: 2,126,200 tons Quota Accomplished: 64.11% Daily Caught: 48,323 tons/44 fishing days Bans are consecutively executed in certain coastal areas till end of May 23. |
Brief China RMB Cash Market:
Cash trend of China fishmeal has been going down to RMB11,800-12,000/ton at Shanghai port during the week while the entire stockpiles of China fishmeal keeps moving up to 133k tons.
According to daily caught of 1st anchovy season, CFO measures the overall catching could be smoothly accomplished by mid June. Going with such performance, Peruvians would smoothly produce sufficient quality fishmeal products and ship to Chinese fishmeal users on contractual schedule.

FM Comments:
RMB Market: RMB cash bid could be shortly supported during the later part of May and whole June. Chinese summer aquatic breeding could soon to move into high season and may measurably speed up fishmeal consumption to fill up the empty space while China goes for coastal fishing ban till Sept.
And meanwhile the entire China fishmeal stockpiles would tentatively stop gaining up while China ports have already received all of those shipments produced from Peru’s 2nd season of 2017. So far according to Peru, the soonest delivery of fishmeal cargoes produced from 1st season of 2018 could be arrived at China port by end of June.
