I.   FISHMEAL / FISH Oil SECTION

Brief China RMB Cash Market:

Cash trend of China fishmeal has been keeping firm at RMB13,400-13,500/ton at Shanghai port while central part of China remains severely flooded situation. There’re several inland aquatic breeding areas along Yangtze river have been showing strictly damaged overflow situation for weeks. As of CFO local authority, there’s only Guangdong and Fujian provinces could remain regular summer aquatic breeding.

FM Comments:

RMB Market: CFO measures RMB cash trend would be gradual slowing down to RMB13,000/ton while China ports receive fishmeal cargoes shipped from 1^st anchovy season of 2020. These fishmeal cargoes would measurably approach China ports since end of July or earlier of August.

And, the stockpiles of China fishmeal would easily return to 150k tons or above in a few upcoming weeks. The disadvantaged weather parameter and the continuous infection brought by covid-19 are still the facts that reduce the utilization of China fishmeal during rest of Q3.

Meanwhile, as of CFO information, with regarding the accumulated fishmeal production till 28^th week of 2020, Chile has also shown better-than-expected performance by gaining up 3.5% from the same period of 2019. The part of fish oil has also grown up by 2% simultaneously.
