I. FISHMEAL / FISH Oil SECTION
Brief China RMB Cash Market:
Cash trend of China fishmeal has been slightly going up to RMB11,700/ton during the week at Shanghai port. The reducing stockpile of China fishmeal at ports has made RMB cash market an unusual uptrend while Chinese are ready for spending lunar New Year.
According to such reducing status, the capability of supplying China fishmeal from main ports could be severely shrinking down to bottom by end of Feb. As of CFO record previously, there’re only 9,472.05 tons of Peru’s fishmeal cargoes arrived at China ports in Dec of 2020. Such low volume has directly made that severe deduction of China fishmeal at ports.

FM Comments:
RMB Market: As of current status of fishmeal off-take from main ports, the supplying capability of China fishmeal could be shrinking down to bottom during March. The flexible supply from domestic fishmeal production is not that reliable while covid-19 remains spread to slow down activities in the country.
CFO measures the reducing stockpiles of China fishmeal at ports would be keeping exist till March, and it could majestically support RMB cash trend till end of Q1 though imported tariffs are gradual slowing down by appreciating currency of RMB.
